In this 3 hour workshop, fiber artist Sarah Eichhorn will teach us how to natural dye with plants and kitchen scraps, and how they can also be used to create unique prints with bundle dyeing.
We’ll cover how to mordant your fabric, recipes for natural dyes, and the different types of dye stuff you can use from your kitchen and garden.
You’ll walk away with a beautiful naturally dyed silk scarf, a bundle dyed flour sack towel, and some natural dyed samples to use as inspiration.
Perfect for showcasing the ways you can create sustainable color from the earth.
